Preplanning … A Smart Choice
We feel there are two reasons why funeral preplanning is the most caring thing you can do for your family.
  • It documents the type of service you and your family would prefer.
  • It protects your family from the possible burden of unexpected expenses, given the services are prefunded.

Just as you plan vacations, investments, and other important events in life, we urge you to consider preplanning for life’s one inevitable event. Our Preplanning Counselor, Amy Schmidt, will guide you through the decision process, and help you to make your decisions over time, when you have had the opportunity to truly consider what form of ceremony would be most appropriate for you. If you are unsure about preplanning, and want more information before meeting with us, plan to attend one of our preplanning seminars, hosted during the year.

Please contact us for more information.

Amy Schmidt is our on-site preplanning counselor.

Continued Service After the Funeral
One of the reasons families have trusted us for generations is that our concern and caring for you extends well beyond the completion of the funeral ceremonies. After the funeral, we help with the many details and legalities that must be covered when a death occurs. We can also provide assistance to those families that appreciate extra support, with recommendations for local grief counselors, support groups, and mental health professionals. We also welcome families to our annual holiday memorial service, for those who have experienced the death of a loved one during the year.

You can also preplan in the comfort of your own home. Simply click on the Online Preplanning button and fill out the form. All information is kept secure and confidential.
And for all your questions about funerals, click on the Funeral Questions button.
Supporting Children Coping with Grief
Helping children cope with death is difficult, especially when they have lost someone close to them such as a parent, sibling or dear friend. For this reason, we are proud donors of the Camp Amanda program, a special Minnesota foundation that sponsors two-day grief camps that encourage the healing and support of children that have lost a loved one. If you know of a child that could use this kind of help, please ask us for more details.
