Obituary for Carrol L. Prescott

Carrol L. Prescott, age 73, of Shakopee, formerly of Morton, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, MN.
Carrol was born in Fairfax, MN, on January 18, 1944, the daughter of Wayne and Ethel (Paschke) Case. On March 3, 1962, Carrol married Jerome Prescott at St. Cornelia's Episcopal Church, Lower Sioux Community. She was a past President of the Shakopee American Legion Post 2 Ladies Auxiliary, and former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Shakopee.
On December 15, 1997, Carrol had a brain aneurysm, and after this she and Jerome enjoyed doing many more things together. Camping, snowmobiling, and traveling in the winter to Texas and Arizona with casino stops along the way.
Carrol liked being around her close circle of friends, whom she saw a lot.
She loved spending time with, and spoiling her grandchildren. Recently, when she moved back to Shakopee, Carrol had a very special caregiver, her granddaughter, Taylor.
Carrol was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome; parents, Wayne and Ethel Case; siblings, Sharon, Sandy, Connie, JoAnn, Gary, and Stephen. Survived by daughter, Terri (David) Schmitt; grandchildren, Jesse (Jenny), Holly (Ben Hill), Dylan, and Taylor; siblings, Linda (Al) Sander, Kenny (Betty) Case, Bert (Carol) Case, Jane Hale, and Sue Lewis.
