Obituary for Irving Floyd Wall

Irving Floyd Wall, age 93 of Prior Lake passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at his home.
Floyd was born on August 19, 1924 in Medford, Wisconsin the son of Irving and Vera (Hinkel) Wall. He married Shirley Pedersen on June 26, 1952.
Floyd started his first job in 1935 at a local service station. In 1936 at the age of 12 he got his driver's license and started working at a local laundry service. Floyd graduated high school and started his career with the United States Army in 1943. He served until 1946 during WWII as a Staff Sergeant. He had numerous jobs and talents including being a truck driver, farmer, service station owner and plumber. He was a member of the Jordan American Legion and the Plumbers Union Local 15. At the age of 77, Floyd starting working for the City of Minneapolis as a Master Plumber and retired when he turned 80 years old.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; siblings, John “Jack”, Donna Underwood; son-in-law, Lee Baker.
Floyd is survived by his children, Ann Baker, Pat (Suzanne), John (Laura); grandson, Christopher Wall; sister, Jean Latuso; nieces, nephews, extended family, close friends and the Dorothy Theis family.
