Obituary for Lawrence A. Vierling

Lawrence A. Vierling, age 92 of Shakopee, MN, entered eternal life on Friday, August 4th, 2017, at Augustana Health Care Center in Apple Valley, MN.
Born on September 7, 1924, in Faribault, MN, the son of Alfons and Katherine (Stophel) Vierling. Lawrence served in the United States Army during WW II, stationed in Japan. He married Constance "Connie" Wellens on August 18, 1948.
For 31 years, Lawrence worked for the Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and was a member of an Airplane Club. He was a member of both the V.F.W. Post 4046 and the American Legion Post 2, both in Shakopee. Lawrence and Connie wintered in Mesa, AZ, and together they traveled in their RV.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie; and brother, Jerome (Gloria). He is survived by daughters and son, Sandra (David) McKenna, Dennis (Mary Kay), Nancy Braun (Rick Schindeldecker); grandchildren, Allan McKenna, Rebecca Bechel, Neena and Timothy McKenna, Michael Vierling, Daniel Braun, Jennifer and Joleen Solem; great-grandchildren, Desiree McKenna, Charly Taylor, Izak Bechel, Jazmin McKenna.
