Obituary for Lois A. (Meuwissen) Husom

Lois Ann (Meuwissen) Husom, age 91 of Shakopee, entered eternal life on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at her home.
Lois was born on May 26, 1926 in Cologne, MN the daughter of Herbert and Helen (Tholen) Meuwissen. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Lois loved to laugh and always had a smile on her face. She loved the art of talking; she loved conversation. A devout Catholic, she said the rosary every night. She enjoyed dancing — especially the polka. She was a fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, loved her dogs, enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and was an avid card player.
She is survived by her sons and daughter, Gary, Vickie (Mark) West, Lars (John), and Steve; grandchildren, Preston, Sidney, and Jeremy; great-granddaughter, Annabelle; sister, Betty Monnens; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by brother, Bud Meuwissen; sisters, Bonnie Bullock, Anelda Hammer, Donna Clemens.
